Why this matters
One SENCO. Thirty children per class. Observations scattered across notebooks, spreadsheets, and memory. The system isn't broken because people don't care — it's broken because the tools don't exist.
Product
A child is struggling. You need to know what's worked before, log what's happening now, and spot what's changing over time. Elsi puts all three within reach.
In the moment
You might know this child inside out. But the supply teacher on Friday won't. The TA covering your class next week won't. Your observation about what calms Jamie down during reading could be the thing that gets them through a difficult morning. Type or talk — Elsi knows their documents, observation history, and what's been tried.
Observe
Voice or text. Three taps. Done. Elsi captures observations without the friction — so you can get back to the child.
Amelia struggled during the transition from lunch. Used the calm corner — settled after 4 minutes.
Strategies
Elsi suggests evidence-based strategies to try. When something clicks, teachers can save it — building a bespoke toolkit that's unique to each child. Not generic advice. Real things that actually worked.
Patterns
Elsi spots things no single person could see. When three people independently notice the same trigger, that's a signal. Your observation might be the one that completes the picture. Evidence-linked insights, not guesswork.
Ethan has struggled after lunch every day this week. The calm corner helped twice, but transitions back to class remain difficult.

How it works
Real moments. Real structure. Real provenance.
Unifying observations into structured, queryable knowledge.
Reports
EHCP annual reviews. IEP targets. Termly progress summaries. Elsi generates evidence-grounded first drafts from months of real observations — every claim traces to specific moments, every quote is real, every count is accurate. The SENCO reviews, edits, and exports.
Every claim traces to specific observations. Counts are pre-computed. Quotes are real. If there's no evidence for something, it simply isn't in the report.
One product, one data layer, ten different conversations.
What you notice matters — the small things, the patterns, the moments nobody else sees. Elsi gives those observations somewhere to go, connects them to the bigger picture, and makes sure the people making decisions about a child's support actually know what you know.
Which means you're also the one chasing every professional, hunting every document, and assembling every report. Elsi doesn't replace your judgment — it stops you spending your week doing admin that shouldn't be yours to do. The observations come in. The evidence builds itself. You review, decide, and act.
A voice note after a moment that mattered, logged, connected, and useful — not lost in a notebook or forgotten by Friday.
The patterns you identify in a session need to be visible in the classroom. Your observations inform the next session. The work compounds instead of sitting in a PDF.
Every observation, every intervention, every piece of evidence — it travels with your child wherever they go. When the time comes to fight for the right support, it's already assembled.
Children move schools. Staff change. SENCOs leave. But the picture of a child — what works, what's been tried, what the evidence shows — shouldn't have to start again. Elsi builds a living record that travels with the child wherever they go.
Nobody knows what works. Not at scale. Not in real classrooms. The research exists in controlled conditions with twenty children. Policy gets made from Ofsted snapshots and LA self-reporting. Our mission is to change that.
Every observation logged, every strategy tried, every pattern that emerges — becomes part of something bigger. Across thousands of schools, that data starts answering questions the SEND system has never been able to answer.
We'll walk you through the product with your school's context — no generic demo.

No child's name, date of birth, or personal identifier ever reaches the AI model. Before any observation is processed, personally identifiable information is stripped out. The AI sees "Child A had a difficult transition after lunch" — never "Ethan Davies, DOB 14/03/2019." This isn't a setting you can toggle. It's how the system is built.
